SmilesforLife.org Through the initiative of the Crown Council, which is a select group of dentists across the United States and Canada, Smiles for Life was designed to serve the needs of children at risk. It began as an idea five years ago and has during this time, has raised over twelve million dollars for children's programs including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Touch 'em All Foundation and many others. I am proud to continue to be a member of the Crown Council and to have participated in Smiles for Life since its inception. Through the gift of many thousands of folks desiring to have a whitened smile and the work of hundreds of dentists who provide the service free of charge and Discus Dental, which provides all the materials at no charge, the benefits to children's charities has been phenomenal. One hundred percent of all contributions go directly to children's charities and organizations.
